Alan Nowicki’s professional interests include wildlife and human disease, public health, conservation biology, animal ecology, evolution, critical thinking, and creative thinking. He has published research in Journal of Wildlife Disease and Journal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation. He is professionally associated with the Association of College and University Biology Educators (ACUBEL); American Society for Microbiology (ASM metformin); Human Anatomy and Physiology Society (HAPS); Midwest Renewable Energy, and Northwest Illinois Audubon Society.
