Highland to Host NJCAA Region IV Basketball Tournament

Highland Community College is hosting the 2014 NJCAA Region IV Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament beginning Saturday, March 1 in the Larry F. Kahl Gymnasium, located in the HCC/YMCA Sports Center. Men’s games will be held at 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 1 with semifinals held at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 2.

The Men’s Championship game will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 3.

The Highland men received a number two seed and will play Truman College in their opening game on Saturday, March 1 at 6 p.m.

Women’s play will begin Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. Semifinals will be played at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 2.

The Women’s Championship game will be held on Monday, March 3, at 5 p.m.

The number four seeded Lady Cougars will take on number five seeded Daley College in the 1 p.m. game on Saturday, March 1.
