An English as a Second Language Group for interested community members will meet Monday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Highland Community College, Community Services Center, room 107, beginning September 22.
The purpose of the group is to allow adult learners to participate in English conversation and pronunciation in an interactive, informal, no-pressure setting, using games and group activities. Childcare is not provided. Individuals not enrolled in class or tutoring may attend one session. If they choose to return, they will be tested and enrolled. People may join this group at any time.
This project was made possible by a grant awarded by the Illinois State Library (ILS), a division of the Office of Secretary of State, using state funds designated for literacy
