HCC Clarence Mitchell Library presents Friday Forum series and poetry readings

 HCC's Clarence Mitchell Library announces several upcoming events for their Friday Forum series and workshops, which will be held in the library, located on the second floor of the Marvin-Burt Liberal Arts Center on the Highland campus.

The first Friday Forum will feature a performance by the Highland Forensics Team at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 27. The Highland Forensics Team will be performing some of their speech events, ranging from informative speeches to acting.

Other upcoming Friday Forums include:

-  At 2 p.m. on Friday, March 13, the HCC Theatre Department will present an in costume cutting from their upcoming production of "Over the Tavern," which will be presented on campus at the Ferguson Fine Arts Center, March 26-28.

-  At 2 p.m. Friday, April 17, Jeremy Monigold will host a program called "3D Printing & Scanning," to learn about printing real objects through 3D printing and scanning.

The Clarence Mitchell Library is also proud to present "How to Read a Poem" with author and poet, Tania Runyan. This workshop will be followed by an open mic for poetry readings on Tuesday, March 31 at 2:30 p.m.
