This session will be an opportunity for discussion of part I, chapters 1-7, of “When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir” by Patrisse Khan-Cullors and Asha Bandele.
These chapters cover Khan-Cullors early life including experiences of racial profiling, housing segregation, mass incarceration, and the school-to-prison pipeline, as well as her early formation as an activist and the development of queer identity.
