Join us for a presentation by Tretara Flowers related to One Book One Highland! Flowers will address mass incarceration and the difficulty of re-entry to daily life after incarceration. She speaks from her own experience and her work as an advocate for those leaving the prison system. The discussion is limited to 50 in-person guests.

Tretara Flowers is a Rockford native who holds a Master of Business Administration concentrating in Human Resources from American InterContinental University. Tretara has an extensive background in Re-entry Case Management, and she is the Executive Director of Get Connected, a Non-Profit she founded in Nov 2019 to help fight the loneliness of the reentry experience. Her presentation will highlight the challenges of re-entry after incarceration.
