Ted Williams III is a performing artist and educator who lives to inspire. He teaches Political Science at the City Colleges of Chicago and holds degrees in Public Policy Studies from the University of Chicago and Rutgers University. He is the author of multiple books and theatrical productions, including the musical 1619: The Journey of a People. His artistic work and political commentary have appeared in a host of local and national media outlets. His presentation will focus on the sources of America’s current inequality and political division, and the power each one of us has to effect change.
