Career Development Meeting

Employers currently struggle to find workers who have the skills needed to fill job openings, and this skills gap is projected to grow. By 2025, 27 percent of all job openings in Illinois will require some form of postsecondary education short of a four-year degree.

At Highland Community College we are working with local employers to increase the skills and education needs of our workforce with industry-valued certificates and credentials.

We work with employers to design and deliver customized training programs that help keep employee skills sharp and to fill any skills gap.  All of our courses are taught by seasoned instructors who have professional experience in their field.

If you are among the thousands who regularly take advantage of our programs, welcome back for this semester. If you are considering enhancing your life or your career, we encourage you to register for one or more course.

We welcome the opportunity to have you be a part of our  community.
