International Preservation Studies Center

Since 1980, students from across the United States, and the globe, are able to take part in the International Preservation Studies Center (IPSC) to develop skills in the preservation of artifacts, architecture, museum collections, and other historic pieces.

The International Preservation Studies Center is one of the top international destinations for practical, hands-on training in collections care, historic preservation, and conservation refresher. With more than 35 years of experience, the IPSC has positioned itself as a leader in the field of preservation, offering courses to meet the training needs of cultural heritage professionals around the world.

Located on Highland Community College’s campus in Freeport, Ill. the Center is an easy drive from airports located in Chicago, Rockford, Dubuque or Madison. Freeport offers affordable housing in area hotels and an entertaining nightlife for visitors.
