Auditions held for Highland’s fall production of ‘An Inspector Calls’

Highland Community College seeks a cast for the fall theatre production “An Inspector Calls” by J.B. Priestly. Students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to audition. No previous experience or preparation is required for the audition. Highland’s Theatre Arts program seeks a diverse cast.

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 22, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre located in the Ferguson Fine Arts Center on the campus of Highland Community College, 2998 W. Pearl City Rd., Freeport, Ill.

The play is about a death investigation which punctures the celebratory dinner of a wealthy British family. The eerie thriller has performances in the Ferguson Fine Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on October 3, 4 and 5. The production is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Publishing Company.
