A work group of individuals from across the College created the new Policy 4.037 Anti-Bullying to support a culture of trust, accountability, and respect, and demonstrate HCC’s Cultural Beliefs, Core Values, and Mission. The discussion stemmed from concerns about racism, political divisiveness, and hate crimes; the increased emphasis on anti-harassment and bullying on campuses, and the work at Highland to improve the work culture and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
