Highland Community College to offer Basic Nursing Assistant class at Pinecrest Grove Community Center

Pinecrest Community has received a grant from the A. Charles and Lillemor Lawrence Foundation to fund a classroom at the Grove Community Center, Mount Morris, IL.

This program prepares students to enter the health care workforce. The program is approved by the Illinois Department of Public Health. Students who successfully complete the program are eligible for the Nurse Aide Training Competency Evaluation in order to become a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).

The first class at the Grove Community Center, with a maximum of 8 students, will begin June 6 and end July 6. Classes/clinicals will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Registration is now open. Students may register for this class through Highland Community College.
