In 2020, Highland began a culture change initiative that started with the Culture Assessment survey. This was followed by a Culture Foundation Workshop where a group of cross-organization participants shared their observations about our current culture and had thoughtful conversations and forward thinking about a new culture. Since that time, Highland employees have been invited to attend the ONE Highland Culture workshop which provides tools, resources and a framework for intentionally building a strong culture. We will be offering an additional ONE Highland workshop in January 2024. The goals of the workshop are outlined below.
- To discuss our current culture and how to move forward to a desired and needed culture
- To create a strong, positive, engaged culture at Highland
- To learn how our beliefs and experiences are connected to our actions and results
- To work on building an accountable culture that drives results
- To learn new best practices to See It, Own It, Solve It and Do It
- To take part in focused feedback, storytelling and recognition
