Center for Teaching and Learning Services

The Center for Teaching and Learning Services (CTLS) exists as a space for educators and staff to gather and engage in professional development related to teaching and learning. The CTLS collaborates with faculty and staff in the development and the improvement of course design that embodies best practices in user experience and instructional design.

Services

CTLS provides a range of services for faculty. Services include:

  • An informal peer review of your course design in Moodle
  • Quality Assurance tips for your online or hybrid course design
  • Instructional design support – course curriculum outlines or Moodle builds
  • Digital accessibility work carried over from the Opening Days sessoin
  • Content creation for your online and hybrid courses
  • Assistance infusing RSI (Regular and Substantive Interaction in online courses
  • Communication coaching for video creation
  • Quality Matters training and/or follow-up training
  • Slide deck creation
  • Moodle rubric creation or other assessment assistance
