At the February 23, 2022 Board meeting, the Board approved an anti-bullying policy. The anti-bullying policy was developed in support of ONE Highland and our desire to change HCC’s culture to one that supports the Cultural Beliefs and Core Values, and is welcoming and supportive. We are following up with in person training to further promote Highland’s commitment to a supportive, safe and collegial work and academic environment and build a culture of trust.
Licensed clinical social worker, Kevin Polky, will be on campus on Thursday, December 1 to facilitate one-hour workshops at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Kevin will talk about what bullying is, what it is not and what to do when you experience or witness bullying. Please plan to attend one of the sessions. This workshop is included in our annual compliance training requirements. Employees can join in person in H-201 or via Zoom (Zoom links will be provided in the future). At least one of the workshops will be recorded if you are unable to make it to one of the live sessions.
