Highland’s policy review committee meets monthly (except during the summer) to evaluate the need for changes in the Policy Manual and recommend changes to the Board. The committee members are as follows: Jill Janssen, (Chair), Joani Bardell (Nursing/Allied Health, Natural Science and Math), Rex Blomberg (Custodial/Maintenance), Karen Brown (HR), Susie Dvorak (Enrollment and Records), Terri Grimes (President’s Office), Rich Jacobs (Business and Technology), Steve Mihina (Natural Science and Math), Deb Hayenga (Notetaker). Membership is comprised of two representatives from each group: faculty, support, custodial/maintenance, and administration. Interested individuals from these groups are selected by their groups. The process for presenting new policies/updates to PRC can be found in the Policy Manual in the Appendix (G-Drive\General\POLICY MANUAL & Minutes\POLICY MANUAL).
