Highland offers the Family Advantage Health Plan (FAHP), which is an attractive opt-out option that has the potential to create significant health care savings for you and your family if you have access to other health coverage through a spouse or parent and have been on Highland’s medical plan for at least one year. You are able to drop Highland’s health coverage and enroll in the Family Advantage Health Plan when alternate health insurance becomes available to you or to coincide with a spouse or parent’s open enrollment period (many employers host open enrollment in the fall for a January 1st effective date). Watch a brief video to learn more about the FAHP.
