Annually, all employees must complete sexual harassment prevention training, per Illinois Public Act 101-0221. You should have received an email from “Highland Community College” <administrator+@safecolleges.com> on October 14 with information on how to access the Safe Colleges/Vector Solutions site to complete required modules, which include sexual harassment prevention, mandated reporter, discrimination awareness, Title IX and sexual harassment prevention, and FERPA.
These required compliance trainings support a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace for employees and students. They provide practical guidance on recognizing concerns, understanding reporting responsibilities, and responding appropriately when issues arise. Completion is required by law and helps ensure the College remains compliant while upholding our shared values. We appreciate everyone taking the time to complete the training by December 19, 2025.
If you have completed these training modules in the last few months as a new hire, it will not be necessary for you to complete them again. Please reach out to me if this is the case and the modules are listed under your required training. You can also access Safe Colleges/Vector Solutions by going to My HCC Applications > HR–Payroll > Safe Colleges Training.
If you have any issues accessing the training, please contact christie.lewis@highland.edu
