Apply for Admissions
- Submit the Application for Admission International Students form or reach out to international@highland.edu for a downloadable form.
- Submit the application to the Office of Admissions and Records by fax 815-235-6130 or by mail: Office of Admissions and Records, 2998 West Pearl City Road, Freeport, IL 61032 USA.

Submit Proof of English Documents
- You will need to submit proof of English Language by sending a current, official TOEFL Examinee’s Score Record showing a “total score” of 500 or higher paper-based or 173 computer-based exams or 61 IBT (Internet-Based Score on a TOEFL exam or equivalent). Or DuoLingo with a minimum score of 100.

Financial Eligibility
- Submit an original bank letter from you or your sponsor’s bank or financial institution, which includes the location of the account information and is signed by a bank official. This document must show evidence of a minimum balance equal or greater than the cost of one academic year at Highland Community College.
- Submit the sponsor’s financial affidavit of support. The form provided must be completed and signed by the sponsor as verification of intent to cover all students expenses for the duration of study at Highland Community College.

Submit Transcripts
- Submit Official Transcripts From High School or College: You must submit official, secondary-school transcripts, preferably in English to the Office of Admissions and Records at international@highland.edu
