While Highland Community College is closed on November 3, 2020 for the general election, you can volunteer as election judges in your respective county. Below is a list of requirements by county you must meet in addition to being at least 16-years-old.

- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Be of good repute and character.
- Be able to speak, read and write the English language.
- Be skilled in the four fundamental rules of mathematics.
- Be of good understanding and capable.
- Not be a candidate for any office in the election and not be elected committeeman.

- Be responsible for your transportation to and from the polling place you have been scheduled to work.

- Be a resident of and be registered to vote in Boone County.
- Be responsible for my transportation to and from the polling place where I have been scheduled to work.
- Complete a training session provided by the County Clerk.
