Get ready for a season of Highland Cougar Volleyball with the season opener at
6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27 with a game against Rock Valley College in the YMCA/Sports Complex at Highland Community College, 2998 W. Pearl City Rd., Freeport, Ill.
The Highland Cougar Women’s Volleyball team has 11 on the team, with one returning sophomore, one transfer, and nine freshmen.
“I am excited about the upcoming season,” said Beth Groshans, head volleyball coach. “We have a talented group that needs to learn the speed of the game at this level and keep up. We have had a great pre-season and I look forward to what this group can do this season.”
