Highland athletes receive Academic All-American recognition

The tradition of high-quality student-athletes participating in Cougar athletic programs continued in 2019-2020. Twelve Highland Community College student-athletes were named to the National Junior College Athletic (NJCAA) All-American teams.

NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA

NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA

Jonathon Silvers – Gol — Byron

Jenna Diehl – Volleyball — Freeport

Javier Jazo – Golf — Freeport

Ahlasia Kloepping – Volleyball — Freeport

Emma Kinney – Softball — Dakota

NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA
