Highland Community College hosts Statewide Career Fair

Clarence Mitchell Library

Highland Community College is participating in a statewide virtual career fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, April 9. HCC is one among 18 community colleges partnering with the Illinois Community College Career Services Professionals council, and the Illinois Department of Employment Security to host the event virtually on Handshake™ at www.tinyurl.com/YourFutureNow21.

“I am optimistic that this virtual statewide career fair will have great value to the students, community members, and organizations that participate,” said Anthony Musso, Coordinator, Career Services at Highland. “It gives companies in our region an opportunity to speak with more students and community members who might have interest in relocating to Northwest Illinois.”

Highland is the leading college in this group to transition to Handshake™, a popular online job board platform for many universities nationwide.

The event is free for all job seekers in Illinois. All ages and backgrounds are welcome to be part of the career fair. Employers can participate for $75 by registering at tinyurl.com/IC3SP21.
