The Highland Community College Youth Choir will resume rehearsals on Monday, Aug. 26 from 4:15-5:20 p.m. in room F-10 in the Ferguson Fine Arts Center on the Highland Community College Campus, 2998 West Pearl City Rd., Freeport, Ill. New members, first through 12th grades, are welcome. The program is under the direction of Dagny Brandt and accompanied by Heidi Spotts-Manthey.
The HCC Children’s Choir began in the early 1980s. Over the past 30 years, the Children’s Choir is credited for encouraging the musical talents of hundreds of adolescents and teenagers. The Highland Youth Choir provides an opportunity for students to practice vocal music talents as well as promote personal and social growth.
