Highland’s Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society for Nursing donates money to Well Woman program at Stephenson County Health Department

Highland Community College’s Beta Delta Chapter of the Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society for Nursing donated $175 to the Well Woman program at the Stephenson County Health Department.

In support of the fight against cancer, the students handed out prevention information and held a basketball raffle at the Cougar Women’s Basketball game on February 7. Cancer survivors and fighters were recognized during half-time.

The objective of the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society is to recognize the academic excellence of students in completing an Associate Degree Nursing. The society encourages the pursuit of advanced degrees in the profession of nursing as well as continuing education as a life-long professional responsibility.
