Immigration: From Fear to Rational Policy presented by the HCC Global Task Force Committee

Highland’s Global Task Force Committee hosts a program on Immigration: From Fear to Rational Policy at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 3 in the Student Conference Center, H-201, at 2998 W. Pearl City Rd., Freeport, Ill.

The guest speaker, Sara Dady, a Rockford immigration attorney, will discuss the fears of immigration and the current immigration solution.

“Sara Dady cuts through the tired and often misleading rhetoric surrounding the immigration debate and presents common sense solutions that can benefit everyone,” said Andy Dvorak, a History instructor at Highland Community College.

Dady is a family-based immigration attorney and a board member of “Justice for Our Neighbors of Northern Illinois,” which provides high quality, free immigration legal services.

The program is free and open to the public. For more, email andy.dvorak@highland.edu or call 815-599-3443.
