In cooperation with East Dubuque School District #119, Highland Community College will be offering college credit courses at East Dubuque High School beginning this summer. An open house will be held on May 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the High School. Highland faculty and staff will be present to answer questions about the upcoming course offerings and to provide information about registration.
The initial offerings will include criminal justice and hospitality management classes. Plans are underway to offer more courses to be announced in the coming weeks. Call the HCC Admissions Office at 815.599.3414 for more information. The following classes have been scheduled:
CJS 101 Introduction to Criminal Justice: June 12 to August 3: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
CJS 101 Introduction to Criminal Justice: August 14 to December 8: Days and times to be determined
CJS 203 Criminal Law: August 14 to December 8: Days and times to be determined
HOSP 103 Front Desk Management: August 14 to December 8: Wednesdays, 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
