The HCC Study Abroad program includes opportunities for students and employees. Students can participate in study abroad opportunities for college credit. Employees can participate in professional development, professional exchanges, site visits, and visiting faculty opportunities.
Student Opportunities
Highland offers summer study abroad programs through the Illinois Consortium for International Studies and Programs (ICISP). The study abroad programs allow students to explore other countries and earn college credit.
Guidelines, requirements, and deadlines for student participation in study abroad programs are set by ICISP and vary by program and semester. For details, please email studyabroad@highland.edu or call 815-599-3493.
A student’s enrollment in a study abroad program approved for credit by HCC may be considered enrollment at HCC for the purpose of applying for assistance under the Federal Student Aid (FSA) programs.
