Highland Community College Women in Science Club and Student Senate welcome Elizabeth Priller, RN, BSN, certified health coach, certified fitness instructor, and Highland Alumna to be a guest speaker on a topic FARMacy: Connecting Food to Disease Prevention at
2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 in the Natural Science and Health Center Ray and Betty Stamm Health Science Nursing Wing (Building N), Room N-107 at 2998 W. Pearl City Rd., Freeport, Ill.

Priller works with people with chronic conditions, helping them reach their nutrition and fitness goals. Her presentation, FARMacy, will give a clearer understanding of what is in our food. She uses her experience to help others achieve whole-body wellness, which includes physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and relational health.

“The Women in Science club is excited to bring another dynamic speaker and Highland alumna.” said Juliet Moderow, Biology Instructor and co-club advisor. “This semester, we wanted to focus on wellness. The timing of this presentation is close to the end of the semester where students often have high stress, less sleep, and more sickness. We hope that this presentation will help students (and others) learn how to live a healthy life so they can focus on doing well in college and future careers.”
