The Board of Trustees approved the updated employment policies at its November 28, 2023, meeting. As an employee of Highland Community College, you are covered by Highland’s Policy Manual. This can be found on the G:General/Policy Manual and Minutes. Employment policies may also be located on the Staff Portal/Human Resources/Employment Policies/Processes and Notices. Via links on the Staff Portal, you will also be able to access and view directly the most up-to-date required Illinois and Federal employment notices such as The Illinois Minimum Wage Law, 820 ILCS 105 et seq, Illinois Equal Pay Act of 2003, 820 ILCS 112 et seq, Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act, 820 ILCS 115 et seq, and Illinois Child Labor Law, 820 ILCS 205 et seq.
