Highland Community College is sending off the Men’s Basketball team to the NJCAA D1 Championship in Hutchinson, Kan., on Saturday, March 17. The public is invited to the good luck send off at 8:30 a.m. in the Highland Community College Sports Center/YMCA, 2995 W. Pearl City Rd., Freeport, IL. The Cougars play in the opening round against South Plains College (Texas) on Monday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. Highland games at the National Tournament will be broadcast live on Kickin’ Country (92.1 FM) and are also available live worldwide on the Internet at www.BogRadio.fm.
