In partnership with the Illinois Department of Public Health, the Stephenson County Health Department hosts COVID-19 drive-through testing Friday, December 4, and Saturday, December 5, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. in the South lot C on the HCC campus. We are glad to be able to offer our campus this free service to our community.
We hope the campus traffic impact is minimal; however, we encourage you to avoid the Pearl City entrance and park in lot D during the testing time. The health department expects around 100 testers each day. Reserve sheriffs will help with the traffic flow, but please offer patience to the extra traffic at any given time before, during, or after the mobile testing.
We will share this information with students as well. If you have students in your course impacted by this, please encourage them to make alternative parking plans on Friday.
