[JPG, 300.81 KB]The Highland Community Orchestra is open to both students and area musicians. The ensemble performs string and symphonic orchestral literature from a wide variety of styles and periods – Bach to Broadway, Mozart to movies, and more. There are four concert cycles per school year in close collaboration with the Highland Concert Band, as well as other occasional performance opportunities.
Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights during the school year, 7-9 p.m. in the Ferguson Fine Arts Center.
The ensemble is open to players with a wide range of abilities, from ambitious high school students, to local professionals. Please contact Brandon Lamm at brandon.lamm@highland.edu for more information about joining the orchestra.
