Hello everyone. At the request of faculty senate, I am here to provide you with information about disinfecting the instructor workstations prior to use. We’ve chosen to recommend sanitizing prior to use rather than after use so that the person that will be using the station will know that it has been done to their liking. Every classroom on campus is provided with disinfecting wipes. As we use our supply of disinfecting wipes, the brand name of wipes may vary but the active ingredients are the same. All classrooms are also provided with hand sanitizer, though brand names of hand sanitizer may also vary. To disinfect the instructor workstation, remove a wipe from the container. First, wipe the mouse, and then wipe the keyboard, being sure to dampen all of the keys. Next, wipe the instructor workstation as well as any other peripheral equipment that you will use for your class, and don’t forget the markers. Dispose of the wipe, and if you wish, follow up with a little hand sanitizer. That’s it thanks for watching and welcome back.
