Summer hours will begin Monday, May 23. Please mark your calendars! Summer hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch break. The campus will be closed on Fridays. Regular hours of operation will resume on Monday, August 15.
The summer work schedule for part-time employees will be arranged through their supervisor. In addition, the summer work schedule for custodial and maintenance employees will be arranged through their supervisor since these groups work three shifts and/or varying hours and days.
Summer Pay Dates
During summer hours our summer pay dates change from Fridays to Thursdays. Beginning with the June 2, 2022 pay date, paychecks will be dated Thursdays. Live payroll checks will be mailed prior to pay day (Wednesday) of summer pay weeks. Friday pay dates will resume on the August 26, 2022 pay date.
Direct deposits will be in your account on Thursday morning. We encourage those not using direct deposit to sign up today by following the directions in ADP – see G:/General/HR Payroll Resources for Employees/ADP/Direct Deposit and Viewing Pay Statements. If you prefer to fill out a paper form, complete the direct deposit check form found at: G:/General/HR_Payroll Resources for employees/Forms/Payroll Forms/Direct Deposit and submit the completed form to Payroll at the address on the form or via interoffice mail, box #28.
The above paycheck distribution process assures Highland’s compliance with ADP’s policy and the IRS regulations under the Constructive Receipt Law and does not expose HCC or ADP to check fraud risks.
An email to full-time hourly employees and their supervisors regarding entry of summer hours in ADP’s Workforce Now and timeline for approval of hours will be sent prior to the first pay period with summer hours.
