Speaker Katherine Kafka Walts will discuss current US anti-trafficking laws, new and promising practices, challenges, and a call for a broader human rights framework to empower survivors. The impact of the pandemic on trafficking survivors will also be covered.
Katherine Kafka Walts is a faculty member & Director of the Center for Human Rights of Children at Loyola University Chicago, School of Law. Her experience includes teaching, consulting, changing laws, & many research publications.
