Our free Adult Education classes prepare students to earn the State of Illinois High School Diploma (GED®) while building the reading, writing, math, and critical thinking skills needed for college, career training, and today’s workforce.

Program Overview
Highland’s Adult Education program provides instruction in language arts, math, science and social studies.
Classes are designed to prepare students for the GED® exam while also building the confidence and academic skills needed for college, workforce training, apprenticeships, and career advancement.
Whether your goal is to earn your high school equivalency or continue your education at Highland, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
GED® Testing
To earn the State of Illinois High School Diploma, students must pass all four GED® subject tests and complete the Illinois Constitution requirement.
