Highland Community College hosts Faculty Art Exhibit

[Freeport, Ill.] — Highland Gallery, located in the Ferguson Fine Arts Center at Highland Community College (HCC), will feature works of art created by current HCC Visual Arts faculty members beginning Wednesday, October 21.

This annual exhibit showcases illuminates images and concerns through recent work by Robert Apolloni, Jocelyn Chase, and Arthur Santoro, working artists and HCC visual art instructors.

This popular event presents HCC art faculty as professional exhibiting artists, opposed to their more familiar role as visual art instructors. The show highlights the faculty’s breadth of experience and expertise, spanning various media, themes and styles in this eclectic exhibition.

The 2026 exhibition will feature:

  • Robert Apolloni – Mixed media drawings
  • Jocelyn Chase – Sculpture
  • Arthur Santoro – Mixed media illustrations

Join the artists for an opening reception on Wednesday, October 21 from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.

At the reception, guests will get a first look at the art and get the chance to mingle with students, HCC personnel, and community members. Refreshments will be served.

This exhibit is free and open to the public through December 4.
