The library staff is available to help you with any of your instruction and research needs. Never hesitate to contact the library for assistance with finding resources, paper or online. Many resources are available to assist you and your students.

Discover Resources

Using our Discovery @ Clarence Mitchell Library search tool, you can search across a number of library resources. See what is available at Highland and 70 other PrairieCat libraries. Request books, find articles, e-books and other library materials online. You may also search the PrairieCat native interface.

Chronicle of Higher Education

Take advantage of campus-wide access to the full-text of this week’s Chronicle of Higher Education.

Films on Demand

You can access Films on Demand from within the results screen in the Discovery interface. Login with your HCC network username and password is required to use Films on Demand from home. Choose the video tab to search only Films on Demand. You will find lots of great content for your courses. Add Films on Demand to your Moodle course so students can access the video content anytime.

Information Literacy Skills videos

Instructional videos created by HCC Librarians are available for your use in your face-to-face or virtual classroom.

Research Consultations/ Classroom Instruction

We encourage you to send your students to our staff librarians (Laura Watson or Michael Skwara) for assistance with their research papers and projects.

Librarians are available to come to your classrooms to discuss discipline-specific resources, research instruction and other aspects of Information Literacy, and for library tours or demonstrations of library resources.
