Introducing eBooks & eAudio available through Libby/Overdrive
Borrow ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines to read on your phone or tablet using the Libby app by OverDrive. You can even send and read your borrowed ebooks to your Kindle ereader. It’s free and easy to get started.
First, download the Libby app from the Google or Apple app stores. Once you have installed the Libby app, look for your library by searching for Highland Community College. You will see that we are affiliated with the NILRC consortium. You will be prompted to enter your library barcode and pin numbers. Once you have selected your library and correctly entered your barcode and pin numbers you can search for eBooks and eAudio books. Some items will be available immediately. Others you can hold and you will be notified within the app when they are available for checkout. Items check out for 21 days. All Libby items are automatically returned at the end of the lending period.
