The Career Services Center coordinates the Student Worker Program at Highland Community College. The center works with students throughout the employment process, from answering application questions to conducting the student worker orientation. Career Services Center staff is also in direct communication with the hiring departments across campus, assisting supervisors in the employment process.

If you are interested in becoming a student worker, you must meet the following requirements:
- Registered at least part-time
- 2.0 GPA (waived for new students)
All student worker positions are posted on Handshake™. To apply for positions, please activate your Handshake™ account. If you don’t have one, please contact Career Services to get you set up.
Applications are accepted throughout the year. However, most student workers are hired in the weeks leading up to the start of a semester.
