Eligibility Requirements
- Must be enrolled at least part-time at Highland Community College
- Must remain in good academic standing
- Must have an approved FAFSA and be awarded Federal Work-Study through Financial Aid
- Few positions are available to eligible students regardless of Federal Work-Study eligibility based on department and institutional funding
How to Apply
Complete your FAFSA (for Federal Work-Study consideration)
- Login to Handshake using your HCC credentials
- Fill out your Handshake profile with prior work experience, education, volunteering, etc.
- Search for available on-campus positions on Handshake
- Submit your application for positions of interest
Next Steps
- Allow 7-10 days for supervisors of applied positions to contact you via phone or email.
- Once interviewed and offered a position with a supervisor, you will begin the paperwork process.
- Students MUST complete ALL paperwork with Career Services & Human Resources before they begin working.
