Community Mentor Program
Career Services manages the Community Mentor Program, which connects HCC students with professionals across the Highland district.
- Integrated into many first-year experience seminar classes.
- Open to all students, not just first-years.
- Helps students explore career options, learn professional expectations, and grow as leaders.
How It Works
- In-Class Engagement: Mentors are invited to participate in first-year seminars through events and panels.
- Ongoing Connections: Students may also connect with mentors outside of class for additional guidance.
- Flexible Commitment: Mentor involvement can range from a few hours per semester to ongoing check-ins.
