Do I need to have a resume prepared before my appointment?

No! You can attend a resume writing lab at any stage of the resume writing process. We’ll help you build your resume and give you tips along the way.

If you need a resume and do not know where to start, brainstorm with information like grade point averages, awards won, locations of previous employment, and certificates earned. If you have an outdated resume, bring it anyway.

If this is your first time writing a resume, plan on revisiting your resume 2 – 3 times in order to create a polished document.
