Programs and Courses
Cultivating Success
Highland’s agriculture programs combine applied learning, modern science, and real-world experience to prepare students for what comes next. Whether you plan to transfer to a four-year university or step directly into the workforce, you’ll gain the skills, confidence, and perspective needed in a rapidly evolving industry.
With a campus greenhouse, agriscience labs, research fields, and strong regional connections, students learn in environments that reflect today’s agriculture — and tomorrow’s opportunities.
Part of what makes a Highland Community College Agricultural education robust are the facilities available for interactive learning. On-campus greenhouses, raised beds and compost systems, and a nearby 55-acre crop research plot complete with a subsurface irrigation system with bioreactors allow for real-world learning. An agriscience lab and plenty of shop space give you the freedom to research, experiment and innovate.
